Code of Conduct

    NASP Code of Conduct

At the National Association of Sales Professionals, our mission goes beyond training salespeople — we are in the business of transformation, integrity, and service. Everything we do is grounded in the belief that selling, at its highest form, is an act of generosity: helping people get what they truly want and need. That belief demands a standard of conduct that reflects our highest values, both in how we operate as an association and in how we serve our members.

    1. Integrity First

We commit to honesty, transparency, and ethical behavior in every interaction — with our members, our staff, our partners, and the public. We do not overpromise, overstate, or manipulate. We earn trust by consistently doing what we say we will do.

    2. Member-Centered Service

Our members are why we exist. Every program, certification, and resource we create is designed to serve their growth, not our convenience. We listen deeply to our members' needs and continually evolve to meet them with excellence.

    3. Respect and Inclusion

We treat every individual — regardless of background, industry, experience level, or belief system — with dignity and respect. NASP is a community built on mutual support, not judgment or exclusion.

    4. Confidentiality and Trust

We protect the privacy of our members' personal and professional information. Trust is the foundation of everything we do, and we safeguard it fiercely.

    5. Professional Excellence

We hold ourselves and our members to the highest standard of professional competence. We support continuous learning, skill development, and mastery — not just credentials, but genuine capability that serves the people our members work with every day.

    6. Accountability

We take ownership of our actions, our mistakes, and our commitments. When we fall short, we acknowledge it, correct it, and grow from it — modeling the same accountability we ask of our members.

    7. Ethical Selling Practices

We champion sales as a noble profession built on service, not manipulation. NASP members are expected to represent products, services, and opportunities honestly, always prioritizing the genuine best interest of the customer.

    8. Collaboration Over Competition

We believe the sales profession is elevated when we rise together. We encourage members to share knowledge, support one another's growth, and contribute to a culture of generosity rather than gatekeeping.

    9. Fair and Equal Opportunity

We are committed to providing equal access to our resources, programs, and community for all members, free from favoritism, bias, or discrimination of any kind.

    10. Purpose-Driven Leadership

We lead from identity, not ego — every decision made on behalf of NASP is rooted in our purpose of serving our members and elevating the sales profession as a force for good in the world.
