CPSP Sales Training and Certification Day 1

Today I took the first steps of a new journey. Like many people, I've had a hard time in this economy. I lost my job in 2010 and the search for another seems never-ending. That's why I've decided to take a new journey - one that will broaden my horizons, provide insight and lead me to a more fulfilling and productive life. My decision to use NASP's sales training program was an easy one. Successful sales professionals are great influencers. My background has always been in office administration, but I recognized that ultimately we're all in sales, of some sort. We put our best foot forward in interviews; we try to influence our children with our values and priorities; we use our charm to get that first date, we convince our boss we deserve a raise. I realized I needed sales training - practical, useful knowledge that will help me be more confident as I sell, influence, charm and convince others in my day-to-day life. Sales certification is the bonus as I go through the training. It is proof positive I've put in the extra mile. Today was Day One in the sales training course. As I focused on creating a dynamic mindset, I was challenged to identify limiting actions and embrace positive behaviors. This activity alone has opened my eyes and made an impact. I also enjoyed Rod Hairston's coaching call. It was very supportive; like having my own personal cheerleader. He was encouraging, uplifting and heartening. Day One of my certification is now complete. It seems like I've learned a ton already. I can't wait to see what Day Two has in store.
